01. What is my photography style and approach?
My style is loose editorial. When talking about wedding photography, two words are often mentioned: documentary and editorial. But what if you are drawn to something exactly in between?
What if your style, or the style that attracts you, doesn’t perfectly fit either of these? What if you love natural, candid moments, yet still want a bit of elevated, modern aesthetics? What if you want your gallery to look beautiful, but above all, real?
This is exactly where “loose editorial” lives.
It’s not stiff or overly polished. But it’s not chaotic or unfiltered either. Loose editorial is all about balance. It is a style that embraces both beauty and truth; where the curated meets the carefree.
Imagine it as:
⟡ A fashion-inspired pose…that triggers a real laugh.
⟡ A flash photograph…that feels like a memory, not an advertisement.
⟡ A product-style flat lay…but in soft, natural light.
⟡ A composed couple’s portrait…with wind-swept hair or a movement that happens on its own.
It is artistic and styled, but never forced. I focus on the real, honest moments that unfold naturally throughout the day. I want you to look at your photos and see not just perfect versions, but the real ones. The ones laughing. The ones moving. That feeling.
I love clean lines, composition, and the romance of editorial work – but I believe photos should breathe naturally and feel deeply personal. That’s why I work with gentle guidance: I help you feel comfortable in front of the camera, I’ll show you where the light is beautiful, and give slight directions, but I will leave space for those in-between moments to happen – the ones that cannot be staged. I want you to feel like yourselves, not like you’re acting.
My style always grows with the personality and dynamics of the couple I work with. Every wedding is different and every couple has their own story, which is why I always use a personalized approach, combining my own artistic eye with the vibe and energy of each couple.

Am I the right photographer for you?

02. Do you retouch or edit photos (remove imperfections)?
Yes, I gently edit all photos, but I always preserve their natural look. I edit every image in the style you see on my website: soft, natural, and with great attention to light, tone, and feeling.
What exactly does editing include?
It includes color correction, light balancing, cropping, and all the small adjustments that make a photo harmonious.
In close-up portraits, I only remove things that are temporary:
⟡ Redness or a sudden blemish.
⟡ A bruise or a mask mark.
⟡ Similar little things that don’t belong to your actual appearance.
The line I don’t cross
But I don’t erase what makes you – you. I don’t alter faces, I don’t thin out bodies, and I don’t “iron out” the skin beyond recognition.
My goal is for you to look like you, just in the best possible light. I want the photos to remain natural, honest, and soft…exactly the way you feel them.
If you are looking for a complete makeover or want to look like someone else in your photos, then I am probably not the photographer for you.
03. Will our photos be in color, black and white, or a mix?
Most of my galleries end up being around 70–80% in color and 20–30% in black and white, but honestly, it always depends on the light, the atmosphere, and the day itself.
How do I decide on the style?
I believe that certain moments naturally “ask” for their own palette. Sometimes color conveys the warmth of a sunset, while black and white emphasizes pure emotion without distracting background details.
⟡ The best of both worlds: If a photo works beautifully in both color and black and white versions, you will receive both.
⟡ Tailored to you: If you particularly love (or don’t love) black and white photos, just let me know – I will gladly adapt to your wishes and vision.
04. Do you also shoot on film, or only digital?
Yes. I shoot digital for most of the day, because it gives me flexibility and security in all conditions, from dark churches to bright midday sun.
A touch of nostalgia in every gallery
But I always have an analog camera with me. I love that feeling of film, its texture, grain, nostalgia…that little “spirit” that adds something special to the gallery.
⟡ The moment, not the quantity: I don’t use film for every photo, but rather when I feel that the moment carries that warmth and “stubbornness” of analog recording.
⟡ Unrepeatable charm: These are images that cannot be replicated, and that is exactly why they possess that special charm a digital sensor sometimes cannot capture.
05. How far in advance should we book?
The most popular wedding dates, especially in spring and summer, are often booked up to a year in advance. Since I take on a limited number of weddings per year to ensure I can dedicate enough time and attention to each one, it’s best to reach out as soon as you have a tentative date.
Booking for other sessions
For other types of sessions, dates are usually arranged a few weeks in advance:
⟡ Family sessions and couples: It is recommended to reach out at least 2-4 weeks in advance.
⟡ Baptism: As soon as you confirm the date with the church.
⟡ High season (May – October): Demand is highest during this period, so it’s always worth sending an inquiry as early as possible to secure your date.
06. Can you hold a date for us?
Unfortunately, I cannot hold dates without a confirmed booking. All sessions are booked on a “first-come, first-served” basis, which is the only way to be completely fair to everyone who reaches out to me.
How to secure your date?
A date is considered officially booked only when these two steps are completed:
A signed contract (which protects both you and me).
A paid deposit (retainer).
Only then is your date “locked in” and secured exclusively for you, and I stop accepting other inquiries for that day.
07. What are your package prices?
I believe that every wedding and every family is a unique story, so my packages offer different options depending on your wishes and needs.

08. Can I customize a package?
Absolutely. Every wedding, baptism, and family is different, and that is exactly why I am happy to tailor a package to your wishes.
A custom-tailored offer
I am more than happy to shape an offer specifically for your celebration. Instead of choosing something that only half-suits you, let me know your wishes.
Also, if you want to capture your story through motion as well, we can include videography in the offer. I collaborate with a team of top-tier videographers with whom I share the same aesthetics and approach to work, to ensure you get a complete memory.

09. We’re ready! How can we book you?
Once you decide you’d like to work with me, the process is very simple and transparent:
Getting to know each other: I will send you a short questionnaire so I can better understand you, your story, and everything that is important to you.
Consultation: If you would like to chat via a phone call or a short video call before that, we will gladly set up a time. I am here for all your questions.
Booking: We lock in your date by signing the contract and paying the deposit. (retainer)
After that, you are officially on my calendar, and we can start looking forward to your day!
10. We are having a small wedding or a private ceremony – do you photograph such events?
Yes, of course. I absolutely love intimate weddings, private ceremonies, and small family celebrations. Days like these have a special warmth and peace – perfect for the emotional, honest photos I love to create.
An individual approach to your celebration
Since smaller events often don’t follow the standard timeline of large weddings, I like to approach them with a lot of care:
⟡ Flexibility: Whether it’s just a few hours or a whole day surrounded by your closest family.
⟡ Focus on details: A smaller number of people allows me to dedicate myself even more to those small, quiet moments between you.

11. How many photos will we receive?
The number of photos depends on the day itself – the dynamics, locations, and the duration of the shoot. Every wedding has its own rhythm, and I make sure that every important part is captured.
What can you expect?
⟡ Full wedding day: This is usually between 400 and 1000 final photos, depending on the schedule and events.
⟡ Smaller sessions: For baptism, families, or couples, the number is adjusted to the duration, but you always get the full story of your day.
Quality over quantity
What makes up your final gallery?
I do not deliver every single photo taken; instead, I carefully select the best moments so your gallery forms a meaningful whole:
⟡ Story and rhythm: The gallery follows the flow of your day, from the small details and preparations to the big emotions on the dance floor.
⟡ Clean aesthetics: I remove unnecessary duplicates, closed eyes, or technical test shots, leaving only technically and artistically flawless images.
⟡ What remains: You receive everything that is important, beautiful, and worth keeping – every emotion you will want to relive.
12. When will we receive our photos?
I know how eager you are to see your memories, which is why I strive to make the journey from the shoot to the finished gallery as short as possible, without compromising on quality.
First impressions (Sneak Peek)
I send the first photos within 7 days of the wedding. It is a small set of the most beautiful moments that you can immediately share with family, friends, or on social media.
Delivery of the full gallery
⟡ Weddings: The entire gallery is usually ready within 30 days. During the busiest months (May–October), the turnaround time can be 6 to 8 weeks, depending on the peak season.
⟡ Family sessions, couples, and baptism: I deliver these galleries faster, usually within 2 to 3 weeks.
How will you receive the photos?
I deliver all photos via a private online gallery. It is modern, easy to use, and allows you to:
View photos on any device.
Download them in high resolution for printing.
Share the entire gallery or selected photos with your loved ones with a single click.
13. Can we print the photos ourselves or make an album?
Of course! I believe that photos only truly come to life when they are in your hands, on a wall, or in an album you’ll flip through for years to come.
Freedom to print
All delivered photos come with print rights, meaning you can develop and frame them wherever you want, without any restrictions.

14. Will you post our photos online?
Your privacy is extremely important to me. I may share a few photos on my website or social media, but I always do so with great respect for you.
Your preference comes first
I believe in transparency, therefore:
⟡ Tasteful sharing: I only post the moments that best represent my work and the beauty of your day.
⟡ The choice is yours: If for any reason you prefer your photos not to be shared publicly, simply let me know during the booking process.
Your comfort and trust are more important to me than any publication. If you wish for your gallery to remain completely private, I will respect that without question.
15. Where are you located and do you travel for weddings?
I am based in Split, but my camera and I travel wherever your story takes you. I photograph events all over Croatia and absolutely love working in new, inspiring locations.
Traveling is part of my job
Whether you are planning a large wedding inland, an intimate elopement on an island, a christening, or a family session in another city – I will gladly join you.
⟡ Travel expenses: For locations more than approximately 2 hours of driving from Split and for islands (one way), travel fees apply.
⟡ What is included: The travel fee only covers my arrival to your first location and the return home. All travel between locations during the shooting day itself is always included in the package price.
We agree on travel expenses transparently during the booking process, depending on the location and your day’s itinerary, so there are no surprises.
16. Do you bring a second photographer?
A second photographer is always an option if you want one. Although I am used to working alone and ensuring the full story of your day is captured, sometimes an extra pair of eyes is invaluable.
When do I recommend a second photographer?
There are situations where they bring a huge advantage:
⟡ Larger weddings: To ensure every guest and every moment is captured.
⟡ Getting ready at two locations: If you are getting ready at different addresses at the same time.
⟡ A richer perspective: When you want multiple angles of the same moment (e.g., while I am capturing your first kiss, the second photographer is capturing your parents’ reaction).
Double coverage, a more relaxed day
A second photographer means a richer final gallery and the possibility for one of us to stay with your guests while the other shoots your portraits. The decision is entirely yours – I am here to help you assess whether your day needs that extra support.
17. What kind of equipment do you use?
I work with professional and reliable equipment that gives me confidence in all lighting conditions. However, I believe that equipment is just a tool – the photograph is actually made by the person behind the camera and that special connection I build with you in front of the lens.
Safety first
Although my focus is on the story and emotion, I leave nothing to chance:
⟡ Backup equipment: I always carry extra camera bodies and lenses with me, just to be safe. Even though I’ve never needed them, they are there so you can have complete peace of mind.
⟡ Dual recording: My gear records your photos onto two memory cards simultaneously, which means your memories are safe from the very first click.
The most important thing to me is that you feel relaxed, and the technology is just there to capture it in the most beautiful way possible.
