BOOKING PROCESS
STEP I
Secure Your Venue & Check My Availability
The first step is booking your ideal wedding date and location. As soon as you define where and when your celebration will take place, send me an inquiry to confirm my availability for your wedding photography. My calendar fills up quickly, but if your date is already taken, I will gladly recommend fellow wedding photographers who share a similar aesthetic and documentary style.
STEP II
Tell Me About Your Plans
I want to hear all about your vision and wedding plans! Feel free to ask me anything you want to know - from advice on the best locations to details about the timeline itself. We can connect via email, phone, or arrange a video call, and if you are nearby, I would love to meet you over coffee. It is important to me that you feel relaxed because the best wedding photos come from comfortable communication and mutual trust.
STEP III
Contract & Retainer
Once you decide that I am the right wedding photographer for you, we secure the date with an official contract and a retainer payment. The photography contract guarantees you complete security and defines all the details of our collaboration. This way, your date is officially reserved in my calendar, and you can carelessly continue with the rest of your preparations, knowing that your most important day is secured.
STEP IV
We Are A Team
Now you can relax - one of the most important pieces of your wedding puzzle is in place. From this moment on, we are a team. Throughout the entire wedding planning process, I am at your disposal for any questions, ideas, or doubts regarding the timeline and locations. My goal is for you to feel completely natural in front of the camera on your wedding day, knowing that I am there to capture your story exactly as it unfolded.
Before the Big Day
After securing your booking, I will send you a brief questionnaire to get to know your story and what truly matters to you. Based on your answers, we will arrange a meeting (in person or via a call) to go over all the wedding details. I am here for you throughout the entire planning process – feel free to reach out with any questions or thoughts you might have.
Once you draft a preliminary timeline for your day, I would be happy to review it and offer suggestions from a photographer’s perspective to ensure everything flows smoothly and naturally.
About a month before the wedding, I will send a final online questionnaire to gather all the essential details: from exact locations and the final timeline to your family portrait list and your wedding planner’s contact information.
This thorough preparation allows me to arrive on your wedding day completely ready, giving you the freedom to relax and simply enjoy every moment. The final balance for the services is due the week following your wedding.
Your Wedding Day: Your Story, Your Rhythm
It is your day – full of emotions, dear people, and moments that pass by in a blur. My role as your wedding photographer is to ensure you don’t have to think about the photography. You relax and be present, and I will take care of the memories. There is no single ‘right’ way; whether you are planning an intimate celebration or a grand wedding, I adapt my approach entirely to your rhythm.
The photography begins at the agreed time, without any rushing or pressure. Alongside timeless wedding portraits (where I will gently guide you), I spend most of the day capturing spontaneous, real moments: glances, touches, and the overall atmosphere. My goal is that when you look at the photos, you remember not just how the day looked, but how you felt.
From Preparations to the Ceremony
If we are covering the preparations, I start with the details, and then capture the emotions as you get ready. I document everything you have planned: the exchange of letters, seeing your parents, or a special private moment. If you opt for a first look, this often provides a quiet moment and more space for relaxed, unhurried photos.
Family Photos and Atmosphere
Following that are the photos with the bridal party and family-relaxed and stress-free. During the ceremony, I focus on genuine emotions, and while you enjoy time with your guests later, I capture the venue details and the energy of the gathering.
Golden Hour and the Celebration
I always recommend setting aside 15-20 minutes for your portraits during sunset. This is the most beautiful light of the day and your most intimate moment. In the evening, I stay with you until the cake cutting, capturing the dancing, laughter, and the energy of the party, after which I quietly slip away while you continue the celebration.
After Your Wedding
My work doesn’t end when I leave your celebration. As soon as the lights go out, your wedding photos are securely backed up in multiple locations so that every memory is protected from the very start.
I know how eager you are to relive your day, so within a week I will send a ‘sneak peek’, a carefully curated set of first photos to share with family and friends. The complete high-resolution wedding gallery will be ready within a month. You will access it via a private, password-protected online gallery, available to view and download for a full year.
If you want your photographs to take a timeless form on paper, I offer premium quality wedding albums. I will gladly assist you with the photo selection and design so we can co-create a keepsake you will proudly leaf through for decades.
